Inquiry into Energy Policy and Planning in Wales

EPP 32 – Time Ware

Dear committee,

I would like to draw your attention to the inconsiderate nature of teh developments consequent upon teh definition of teh TAN 8 development area. A large majority of te developments are not made for truly green motives or even national altruism. They are made because of UK national government bribes. Every wind development requires an equivalent conventional power station development which will me much less obtrusive and less wasteful as the electricity will travel less distance on ugly pylons.

It has taken decades if not centuries for the results of previous exploitation of teh welsh countryside to be erased and to develop the countryside as an attractive and sustainable tourist resource, often sponsored at taxpayers expense. Wind developments will negate that investment made both by individuals and taxpayers for the profit of often uncaring and off shore based companies.

The bulk of teh equipment purchase is off shore and as such brings limited direct benefit to uk labour force.

I urge you to consider a better integrated long term solution to the rash promises made by UK Goverment and to reject any further developments untill the compensation of local residents is better attended to.
